How far in advance is your availability posted? Availability is posted monthly, typically at the end of each month. I tried booking, but I don’t see any available slots? That means I'm fully booked at the moment. You can join the waitlist to be notified when I have an opening. How do I join the wait list? Navigate to the booking page, select your desired service, and if it's unavailable, you should see an option to "Join the Waitlist" where you can add your information to be notified if a spot opens up GIFT CARDS How do I purchase a gift card? Simply scroll to the bottom of my homepage, where you’ll find “Gift Cards” in large letters. Select the amount. Enter their name, but DON’T enter their email or number (enter yours) unless you want them to be notified right away. Optional: Once you've made your gift card purchase online, if you'd like a physical gift card you can stop by my studio at your convenience and pick one up from the acrylic card holder I have set up outside. You can write anything on it. They would just need to know the information you put when you purchased the gift card How do I book an appointment using my gift card? Unfortunately, the deposit will need to be paid out of pocket, as my booking site does not allow gift cards to be used for deposits. However, I will refund the deposit on the day of your appointment. How do I pay for my service using a gift card? On the day of your appointment, simply let me know that you’ll be using a gift card for payment. All I’ll need is the name associated with the gift card. HEAD SPA FAQ What What is the difference between scalp analysis vs no scalp analysis? Scalp analysis allows you to see the condition of your scalp before and after the treatment using a magnifying device. It also helps me assess your scalp more thoroughly and customize your treatment. However, if you prefer to simply relax and don’t wish to examine your scalp, you can opt for the no scalp analysis option. What products do you use? All natural ingredients like herbs, teas, oils Do you blow dry/style hair after the head spa? No, I don’t style the hair, but I do have a blow dryer available for anyone who would like to use it, along with a complimentary quick-dry hair towel wraps for on-the-go. Is it possible for more than one person to receive this service at the same time? Currently, no, but our goal is to offer that option in the future. Can I get this service with extensions? Unfortunately, we cannot perform the service efficiently. We highly recommend scheduling this service between installation processes. I’m pregnant can I book this service? Of course, we use organic and natural ingredients; therefore, it is completely safe. However you have to lay completely flat on your back during the whole duration of the service. Can you do a Head Spa for _____-textured hair? You can get this service whether you have straight, curly, wavy, or coily hair. However, the hair itself is actually not so much of a concern as we will be focusing on the scalp. So as long as you have a scalp, we can give you a head spa. Do you offer services for men? At the moment I do not, but if they are a part of the LGBTQ community they are more than welcome! LATE/CANCELLATIONS/NO SHOWS I understand that things can happen, but please note that if you are MORE than 5 minutes late, your appointment may be canceled / $10 late fee may apply. If you're 10 minutes late, your appointment will be automatically canceled. No call no shows will result in a 100% charge for the scheduled service and a ban on future bookings. Canceling within 48hrs will results in a 50% charge for the scheduled service. All services, cancellation fees, and deposits are non-refundable. How early should I arrive? Due to my tightly scheduled appointments, please arrive no more than 5-10 minutes before your scheduled time. This ensures I can provide each client with the attention they deserve.
